Born in Sicily, he graduated at DAMS (Drama, Arts and Music Studies) in Bologna, and after having gained experience as a theater director and author, moved to Rome where he started working as a screenwriter. Among the feature movies he has written: In carne e ossa (2009, d. Christian Angeli), Il sole nero(2007, d. Krzysztof Zanussi), Il silenzio intorno (2006, d. Dodo Fiori), Fate come noi (2002, d. Francesco Apolloni), La verità, vi prego, sull’amore (2001, d. Francesco Apolloni), Intolerance (1996, segment Roma Ovest 143, d. Paolo Virzì).
Among his TV dramas: Medico in famiglia, Distretto di Polizia, Il commissario Nardone.
In 2017 he wrote the novel Fuori piove, for goWare publishing.
